have to agree with this. the first movie was total gimmicky bullshit, not scary or inventive at all. the second one had the meta-satire laced with an undertone of sadistic dark comedy (probably reserved for the severely desensitized), and in addition to this had a sense of style. i hesitate to call it good, but something about it is better than a lot of horror out there. it almost justifies Fucking love Human Centipede 2. Genius piece of filmmaking. 3 is a little tamer as far as violence and gore but it's just as fucked up in other ways. The gore is great, the social commentary is great, the cinematography is great, and the concepts are delightfully depraved. Also, Martin is such an intriguingly disgusting little weirdo.
